Fantasia - Suite for String Sextet
Fantasia is a suite with four movements - Prelude, Scherzo, Adagio and Rhapsody. The music was worked into a short film with the same name, which was premiered on TwoSet Violin’s YouTube channel. Fantasia was originally written for five violins, but was later rewritten for string sextet (two violins, two violas and two cellos).

The origin of Fantasia can be traced back to when I composed Prelude, which was premiered on 9 October 2020 on TwoSet Violin’s YouTube channel. The piece was received very positively by many people, which led to our ambition of writing a suite with multiple movements. As the original Prelude was composed for five violins, the suite was also composed for this instrumentation at first. We later considered making this project the most ambitious we have ever done - work the suite into a short film. For this, I rewrote the entire suite for new instrumentation - a string sextet. The short film does not utilise the entirety of the suite, but only extracts from each movement. The full version of the suite has been released on all the major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube music.
The purchase will come with the full score (37 pages) and also the individual parts (altogether 38 pages). Additionally, the purchase will also include two alternative versions of Prelude (version 2 has 10 pages, and version 3 has 11 pages), which are exclusive to the online release of the score.
