This piece was premiered by Drew Gilchrist (clarinet), Jamie Dodd (bassoon) and Francis Atkins (piano) on 27 November 2011 at St Andrew’s Uniting Church, Brisbane, Australia, as part of the 2021 Southern Cross Soloists Next Gen Artists, a program ran by the ensemble-in-residence of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
